Carpet Cleaning Details:
I stand by my 12 step detailed process. Whether you are looking for a one time cleaning or a long term cleaning specialist I care about your needs.

About Stain Removal:
A stain is defined as a foreign dye molecule that has bonded with the surface. Not all spots are stains. Often multiple attempts are required in order to achieve satisfactory results. Stains can be made permanent if improperly worked on.

Regarding Furniture Moving:

I move items large enough for one person to move. I can move tables, couches, beds and most other furniture. Since I work by myself, I ask that if you want areas cleaned underneath any bookshelves, desks, entertainment centers etc. that any items be removed and any electronic equipment be unplugged prior to my arrival. Whenever necessary I use foam blocks and teflon tabs to protect your carpet from rust and furniture stains.

Carpet Cleaning Process:

1.       Pre-cleaning inspection / Damage report - First I perform a pre-cleaning inspection to note any existing problems and or damage in order to inform you of your options

2.       Dry Vacuuming - I use commercial vacuum cleaners with a beater bar.

3.      Pre-spotting (As Needed) - I use specialized spotting formulas and remove any hard to remove spots as needed.

4.      Stain removal (As needed) - The Removal of stains or Dye molecules in Carpeting requires application of chemicals prior to and sometimes after cleaning process, each stain is different.

5.      Enzyme Pre Treatment - I use citrus based detergents to loosen and break up soil deep in the carpet.

6.      Agitate Solution (Rake Carpet) - Raking the carpet further brakes up soil and helps the pre-spray penetrate into the carpet. Making for a deeply cleaned carpet.

7.      Dwell time – 15 minutes - Allowing the conditioner to dwell for up to fifteen minutes before hot water extraction.

8.      Extract & Rinse - Using a neutralizing formula.

9.      Rake to separate fibers - This raises the pile to evenly dry the carpet.

10.   Groom carpet - Grooming the Carpet at the end removes any loose fiber and fluffs the pile.

11.    Apply Stain Protection (Optional) -  DuPont Teflon Stain Guard

12.    Rake & Groom in Stain Guard - Carpet should take 3-4 hours for it to dry. Other factors such as heat, airflow or humidity can effect drying times.
